You Don’t Have To Walk It Alone

Whatever has brought you here, you've taken the first step. You don't have to take the next step alone....I'll meet you there.

Sometimes life becomes too much. Anxiety, trauma, addiction, grief, difficult experiences or simply the weight of everything you're carrying can leave you feeling overwhelmed.

You don't need to have all the answers before you reach out. Counselling offers a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to pause, breathe and begin to make sense of what you're going through.

A Space Where You Don’t Have To Pretend

“A Place To Be You”

How often do we say “I'm fine” when we're anything but?

Counselling can give you somewhere to put down the things you've been carrying. Somewhere you can talk without worrying about being judged. Somewhere you don't have to make things sound better than they are.

I offer a warm, safe and confidential space where you can talk openly and honestly about whatever you're experiencing.

You can arrive exactly as you are.

You don't have to have the right words. Take the first step and I'll meet you there.

My Journey To Counselling

My own journey into counselling began after a rewarding 25-year career as a youth coach. Throughout those years, I saw first-hand how much people can carry beneath the surface. I became increasingly aware of the difference that being genuinely listened to, understood and supported can make. That experience led me towards counselling, where I found a way to combine my passion for helping people with a deeper understanding of emotional wellbeing.

Today, I am a qualified counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have over six years' experience as a professional counsellor.

I work using an integrative approach because I don't believe counselling should be about fitting you into a particular box. You are an individual, and our work together should reflect that.

My role isn't to tell you how to live your life or give you all the answers. My role is to walk alongside you, listen, help you make sense of what you're experiencing and support you as you find your own way forward.

Wherever your journey has taken you…. I'll meet you there.

How Counselling Works

“What happens when you take that next step?”

We meet/talk

We begin by getting to know each other. You can talk about what's brought you to counselling and what you hope might change.

We explore

Together, we can gently explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences. There's no pressure to talk about anything before you're ready.

We find your way forward

Counselling isn't about someone telling you what to do. It's about helping you understand yourself, find your strengths and discover a way forward that feels right for you.

There is no right way to feel. There is no perfect place to begin. Just start where you are and I'll meet you there.
